Beautiful branding and packaging by Socio Design for subscription clothing, STÓR
More beautiful work from London studio Socio Design. This time for STÓR, meaning ‘a store of treasure’ in Gaelic, an Irish subscription service offering staple menswear products – underwear, socks, and T-shirts – made from sustainable bamboo and organic cotton fabrics.

Responding to a shift towards increasingly hectic, inner-city lifestyles, STÓR is driven by social and environmental awareness, and a desire to return to a simpler way of living. The makers invest care and attention into the quality of the most fundamental items of our daily wardrobe – those we wear next to our skin.
Socio was hired to create a brand around an existing logotype, and the packaging for STÓR’s products and subscription packs. Packaged in unbleached recycled card boxes, the subscription packs are available at three levels, and in two sizes.
Socio explained: "We developed a versatile typographic and grid-based labelling system for the product range, supported by a suite of icons to communicate the technical properties and benefits of the natural materials. A restrained colour palette highlights each level of subscription, while an illustration of a bamboo plant on the mailer bag and internal tissue wrap provides a graphic counterpoint to the raw texture of the unbleached card."
