Described as a "feisty Mexican-inspired tortilla", Muchos are being promoted by a campaign created by Engine dubbed ‘When Mexican Flavour Calls’. The £4 million campaign runs across TV advertising, digital, out of home and in-store activity until the end of May.
The TV ad shows a seemingly normal couple pick up the phone to, yup, "flavour" calling. "By opening a pack of McCoy’s Muchos, the setting ignites into a fiesta, with Mexican wrestlers, a mariachi band and McCoy’s very own DJ Burro all joining the party, as the tantalising Muchos flavours are experienced," the brand explains.
Paul Jordan, executive creative director at Engine, says “Marrying together the uncompromising taste of McCoy’s with the full-on flavours of Mexico is a match made in taste bud heaven. To convey how great that tastes, we’ve created a McCoy’s Mexican Mash-up.”
