Vibrant comic book illustrations depict three kick-ass female characters

This bold illustration series is by Sydney-based artist, Maddie Egremont. Currently working as a creative artworker and illustrator, Maddie's latest series is inspired by comic books. The colourful designs feature three heroines – each with their own unique style and individual look.

She explains: "As far back as I can remember I've always been drawing, combining what I imagine with what I can see. My portfolio covers both commercial and personal projects. The main focus of my illustrations are from observational sketches. I like to describe my work as wonky lines with vivid colours."
