As illustrators, it's not every day that you get the chance to create the packaging for a gorgeous new tea brand, which is why Noa Maller was excited to share her latest project for Secret Garden.
Appointed by Lykke, the Danish lifestyle brand behind the drink, Noa used teapots as the focal point of her illustrations, which play a dual role both as kettle and house. "In both of its roles, the teapot's unique design and surrounding reflects the flavour's specific character and gives it a cultural dimension," she tells us.
Understanding more about Noa's background, we get to see other influences with the design. Her studio is based in Loenen aan de Vecht, an old Dutch village which lays along the Vecht river. Surrounded by a small canal and adjacent to an old windmill (we're not jealous at all), there's a hint of that charming atmosphere in the work. "My studio provides me with a scope for the imagination and an inspiring atmosphere that drives my work," she adds.
Originally from Israel, Noa Maller studied graphic design and illustration at Shenkar College of Design, before founding her Netherlands-based graphic design and illustration studio. Discover more at www.noamaller.com.
