Jeez Vanilla's watercolour illustrations are nuanced, punchy and intriguing
Stockholm-based illustrator Adriana Bellet works under the curious pseudonym JeezVanilla – we’re not sure why, but there’s something charming about her work whatever name she makes it under. Her style varies a fair bit from project to project, but usually takes a painterly approach with gentle watercolours offset by punchy linework.

Born in Barcelona, she graduated from the University of the Arts of London in 2010 with a postgrad degree in surface design and has been freelancing ever since. Her clients include publications such as Esquire Spain, UPPERCASE and Frankie, but our favourite work of her has to be for film mag Little White Lies – the way she captures the nuances of faces and gestures feels effortless and stylistically intriguing.
