Delicately embroidered miniature illustrations of woodland creatures by Katy Fenner
Manchester-based creative Katy Fenner – aka Pixiecraft – stitches tiny pieces of embroidery measuring no more than 2.5cm, with each piece meticulously stitched by hand and based on her miniature sketches of woodland creatures.

Each embroidered artwork is finished in a hand-crafted embroidery hoop from Sonia of Dandylene – an Australian maker who has perfected the tiny hoop.
Katy creates delicate embroidered art and jewellery which are stitched completely by hand from her own original designs. She taught herself how to sew in 2010 and went on to start Pixiecraft in 2013 which specialises in the art of hand embroidery, selling her work and running workshops.
Katy has a love of all things miniature and delights in creating tiny pieces of workshop depicting whimsical characters and bold, fun designs. She also crafts larger pieces framed in a 5 inch wood embroidery hoop. Here are just a few examples of both her miniature and larger artworks.
You can view more of her beautiful work at www.pixiecraft.co.uk. Or you can purchase one of her pieces from her Etsy shop.
