Post Typography shows off a raft of excellent new work on impressive new site

We've been admiring the work of Baltimore and Brooklyn-based creative studio Post Typography from afar for a while; now seems like the perfect time to celebrate its output with the launch of a brand new website.

The site is heavily typography-based, using a classy white serif font to delineate the agency's focus and offers. Beneath this, as you scroll down, some excellent new work is revealed. The agency has certainly been busy: alongside the new site launch, it's also showing off some superb recent projects for the likes of the U.S. Forest Service and The New School.

"The redesigned PostTypography.com offers a vibrant glimpse of the studio’s capabilities," says the agency. "Detailed case studies illuminate the creative process behind notable projects. Contemporary design and witty writing showcase the agency’s well-known sense of humour. A streamlined user experience leads visitors through entertaining, colourful highlights of Post Typography’s portfolio."

We're big fans in particular of the 2017 branding and environmental design for Maryland Film Festival’s new SNF Parkway Theatre in Baltimore, which uses a pop colour palette and "friendly-yet-refined typeface" with three custom-lettered logos.

“The new website not only does a better job presenting our work, it shows the ideas, rigor, and personality we bring to our practice,” says Post Typography partner Bruce Willen. Partner Nolen Strals adds, “It’s also fun to browse the site for the funny copy and visual easter eggs. As designers, it’s important for us not to take ourselves too seriously even when the work is serious.”
