Toad's Caravan in Glasgow is a beautiful shared space for freelancers

Toad's Caravan is a creative agency based in the west end of Glasgow. Specialising in film, animation, illustration and motion graphics, their work has appeared on screens big and small across the UK.

When they first got started, they launched as a collective of filmmakers, animators and designers and now operate as both an agency, and as a collective of freelancers, finding the most appropriate solution for clients depending on their brief. They have 15 freelancers based at their studio, with a wider network of 1000+ creative individuals across the country.

Since its foundation by Joanna Susskind in 2010, Toad’s Caravan has worked with The Citizens Theatre, UK indie Tern TV, Glasgow Film Festival, The National Theatre of Scotland and more. Joanna also runs Glasgow and Edinburgh life drawing club All the Young Nudes and is about to open clubs in Dundee and New York. Here is a workspace tour of their humble and charming home.
