Tandem Films in London has huge parasols dotted around its workspace

Today we're having a nose at the studio of Tandem Films, an Oscar-winning creative animation studio specialising in commercials and short films. They've worked with some pretty impressive names during their time including British Airways, CBBC, The Guardian, Expedia and NBC. We couldn't resist taking a look at Tandem's workspace in the heart of Islington in London.

In Tandem's own words: "Our two-floor former pipe factory base in the heart of Islington is made up of an open-plan creative production office, a digital editing suite, a sound design facility and a film studio complete with motion-control and lighting rig. We aim to offer a ‘one stop shop’ from creative development through to final picture, all under one characterful glass roof.

"The talent behind Tandem believe in the craft of animation and enjoy the collaborative process of production. We represent world-class directors working in every conceivable animation style and technique and our studio space is geared up to make it all possible!"
