Life after freelancing and growing an agency, with William Seabrook

Our guest this week is brand consultant William Seabrook. Based in Manchester, William began his career in 2002 when he graduated with a degree in Visual Communication from Birmingham City University.

He then spent three years working as a fashion illustrator – embracing his passion for drawing. But he later ventured into design and ran his own business for 13 years before launching Partisan – a branding consultancy in Manchester that works closely with clients in the built environment.

Here, we chat about growing businesses, the lessons we learn, the mistakes we make – all leading to something bigger and better. There's talk of business plans and reaching for the stars - why not, what else have we got to lose? Having a similar path in many ways, we almost forget we're doing a podcast and talk honestly about our experiences. Particularly of finding opportunities in difficult times. So if you're in the midst of growing a business or studio, and you want some advice or just comfort that you’re not alone, we're confident you'll enjoy this episode.
