Our fiercely loved toys are painted via Skype to take art into the digital age

Sandro Kopp is exhibiting new artworks entitled 'Fiercely Loved' during London's Frieze Festival this month.

Taking place at the Timothy Everest gallery in Spitalfields, you can enjoy Sandro's paintings which were created using the medium of Skype to take part in the digital era.

The exhibition consists of a series of real-time portraits that Kopp painted of fiercely loved subjects that sat for him via Skype, marrying the practice of 19th-century oil painting with modern communication. Wonderful! And nice to see my favourite cuddly toy in there - a bit of Snoopy never goes amiss. You can find out more at sandro-kopp.com.
