Chiara Dal Maso's playful and colourful illustrations with a hint of cheekiness
There's a definite dose of inspiration from David Hockney, Raymond Pettibon and David Shrigley when you look through Chiara Dal Maso's wonderfully playful illustrations. The "multi-faceted" Italian graphic designer and illustrator happens to love these artists; she's also fascinated by abstraction, bold colours and lucid dreaming. "I believe in the miraculous power of drawing," Chiara explains, when describing her work.

Based in Milan, she specialises in brand identity, typography and illustration, and works as a freelancer for a range of international clients. Just this year, she launched creative workshops in the city with a group of illustrator friends. Here's just a selection of her recent work, but you can discover more at chiaradalmaso.com.
