An enticing tour around Huckletree: Shoreditch's latest co-working space

For our latest Tours feature we were invited to take a peek inside London's latest coworking space, in the heart of thriving Shoreditch.

Called Huckletree, it's the second branch to open – the other being in Clerkenwell – and it's built on the premise that the Google and Facebook office model should be available to everyone, no matter whether you work for a large tech firm or as a solo entrepreneur.

Positioned at the heart of London’s innovation centre and within the iconic Alphabeta Building, where Silicon Roundabout meets Shoreditch and the City, Huckletree has a community of 400 members, all enjoying its contemporary space which includes stretching zones, hydration stations, indoor and outdoor gardens and little clutters of inspiration.

There are also four beautifully-designed meeting rooms that can fit from eight to 10 people, a classroom for forty where members can learn to code or join in a yoga session, and one of the most popular event spaces in London.

Explaining why Huckletree is designed as it is, co-founder Andrew Lynch said: "We are a demanding generation. So how much does it cost? Choose from three different packages for hotdesking, including a Pay As You Go option from £35 per day (+VAT). Or rent a dedicated space from £450 per month (+VAT). All packages include workspace when you need it; breakout spaces and private Skype booths; super fast wifi; bottomless tea, coffee and water; members-only events and access to a growing, ambitious community.
