The event will be Mr Penfold's first show to focus on the abstract side of his work, which focuses on the contrast between colour, texture and line work. Drawing inspiration from classic abstraction and minimalism, Masquerades and Silhouettes explores his love for iconic pop culture and clean crisp graphics painting.

Mr Penfold hails from Cambridge originally and currently lives in Bristol. He works as an artist and designer and has exhibited across the world. After leaving school, he started working in a professional collaborative printmaking studio, creating work for and with artists of international repute. Over the last eight years, he has developed a distinctive way of working and a range of imagery that is unmistakably his own.

Influenced by skateboard graphics, classical art and formal abstraction, he works in a variety of fields and mediums including painting, sculpture, graphic design and screen printing. Make sure you check out his work at www.mrpenfold.com.

The opening night for Masquerades and Silhouettes is Friday 30 January 6-9pm and all are welcome. Simply RSVP via Facebook.
