Infinity Bunce invites aliens to The Other Art Fair

Infinity Bunce, who graduated with an MA at Central St. Martins in 1999, is both an artist and curator who has shown her artwork extensively both in the UK and abroad and has collaborated with high profile organisations such as the CDC Centre in Atlanta, United States - on its virus and bacteria paintings. Her projects have been featured in many press publications such as Elle Magazine and The London Newspaper.

Recent works include 'Alien Landscapes' - a body of paintings as a result of years of experimentation with gloss and eggshell paint on MDF and other surfaces. Parts of the pictorial scene are carefully layered with more than eight layers of gloss to create an embossed fluid and shiny surface that stands out again the flat-rolled eggshell paint of their background area.

Other parts of the painting, such as the foreground, are a fantastic array of fluid lines that create a dense jungle-like area, the gloss paint makes its own plant-like formations with flows, ebbs and movement. Beautiful. And you can see these artworks on display at the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane, London from 17-20 October 2013, as part of The Other Art Fair.
