The role
Turns script pages into storyboards for animated features, from rough thumbnails to finished panels. You pitch sequences to directors and executives and revise as the story develops.
What you'll do
- Board action, camera placement and performance from scripts
- Produce both quick sketches and detailed panels
- Present boards to directors, head of story and executives
- Contribute ideas for performance, action and comedy
- Revise sequences as needed
- Spot and fix story and structure problems
About you
- Strong drawing, design and composition
- Range across action, comedy and drama, and across visual styles
- Strong character acting, staging and cinematography
- Able to draw on model within a show's style
- Clear written notes and good time management
- Familiar with Cintiq, Storyboard Pro and Photoshop
