The role
Leads design for audiobook marketing campaigns at Penguin Random House Audio, from the big idea through to finished social, video and digital assets. The role also line-manages the Junior Designer and feeds into audiobook cover briefs. Publishing experience is not required.
What you'll do
- Develop creative concepts and designs for campaigns on major audiobooks
- Make social, video and other digital assets for campaigns, authors and narrators
- Use audience insight to shape ideas
- Manage and guide the Junior Designer
- Contribute to audiobook cover briefs and feedback
- Design pitch documents and presentations
- Work with freelancers and external agencies
About you
- Strong technical design skills and marketing-campaign experience
- Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Experience with animation, motion graphics or other moving digital content
- Able to take ideas from concept to finished work
- An understanding of audiences and the commercial market
- Well organised, with strong communication and feedback skills
The details
- Salary: circa £38,000, depending on skills and experience, plus bonus and benefits
- Contract: fixed term for 12 months (parental leave cover)
- Location: Embassy Gardens, London; hybrid, at least two days a week in the office
