The role

A senior strategic post on the theatre's Executive Team, leading communications and brand strategy. You'll work with the Artistic and Executive Directors to turn the artistic vision and business plan into audience-facing messaging.

What you'll do

  • Develop and deliver the communications and brand strategy
  • Oversee public affairs, PR, marketing, audience insight and Box Office
  • Grow and diversify audiences and deepen engagement
  • Support income generation through audience-led approaches
  • Keep storytelling and messaging about the theatre's work clear and consistent
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders

About you

  • Significant senior experience in communications, marketing, public affairs or similar
  • A good understanding of the arts, culture or a related sector
  • A track record of developing artistic and business strategy
  • Proven stakeholder engagement
  • Able to inspire and lead others

  • Salary: £65,000 a year
  • Contract: permanent, full-time, 40 hours a week
  • Location: St Ann's Square, Manchester
