The role
A content design role in the BHF's Digital Content & Journeys team, taking content from concept to publication and improving how people find information and support online. It sits at the intersection of content design, user experience, accessibility and digital optimisation, and includes work on an upcoming CMS migration.
What you'll do
- Take digital content from concept to publication
- Apply accessibility standards, SEO best practice and audience insight
- Find opportunities to improve customer journeys and discoverability
- Contribute to the content review cycle and CMS migration programme
- Work with colleagues across content, UX, data and technology
About you
- Experience in a digital content, content design or similar role
- Strong experience writing and editing for the web, with accessibility and inclusion in mind
- Excellent knowledge of content design principles, usability and SEO
- Experience with CMS platforms such as Sitecore or Optimizely
- Able to use analytics and performance data to make content decisions
- Experience with tools such as GA4, Siteimprove and SEMrush, and editorial-level HTML
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
The details
- Salary: £37,000 – £40,500 a year plus benefits
- Contract: permanent, full-time, 35 hours a week
- Location: London office and home; hybrid, at least one day a week in the office
- Closing date: 14 October 2026
- Interviews: first stage on Teams, second stage in person in London
- Level: midweight
