We are seeking a Talent Agent & Producer to join Capital Virtues, the visual artist creator agency within The Jacky Winter Group. This position will see you as a vital member of our North American team.
Although this is a remote-first position, we are ideally looking for someone based in Los Angeles or New York, as the role will include in-person networking, client meetings and occasionally attending conferences and events.
While your roster and projects will primarily sit within Capital Virtues, as a core member of our production team you will also work closely alongside all members of The Jacky Winter Group, including our Australian and UK offices, and directly with our represented talent and most valued clients.
About The Role
Working at Jacky Winter is a unique experience which requires an equally unique and dedicated individual. Capital Virtues asks for something more specific again: someone who follows the creator and content world closely, and who also has a real appreciation for visual art and the craft behind it. Each day presents new opportunities to work with some of the most forward-thinking creatives, businesses, and brands; acting as one of the driving forces in the creative process, bringing to life ideas and stories of all shapes and sizes.
This is deliberately a dual role, agent and producer in one. Most talent and booking agents generally hand a deal over once it's signed. Here you'll have the opportunity to pitch and win the project, then produce the work end-to-end, from first brief through to final delivery. This holistic approach sets you up for success when building relationships with your talent, clients and creating meaningful partnerships/campaigns.
It requires relevant interest and experience, ideally from the creator, influencer, advertising or creative industries. While we are responsible for a lot of creative work, and deeply value the inherent creative nature of being producers, the nature of the role is also relationship-driven, administrative and incorporates elements of sales, strategy and fostering new business development.
Duties
As a talent agent, you will act as an ambassador of Capital Virtues and a day-to-day contact for our agency partners. From PR, social, advertising and influencer marketing agencies through to direct clients, you will identify and capitalise on new business opportunities to help build and strengthen our client base across North America.
Your role involves maintaining knowledge of both the current and future state of the industry - advertising and commercial art alongside the platform and creator landscape - combined with a thorough understanding of the capabilities of our agency, represented talent, and industry partners. You'll be responsible for keeping our bespoke CRM up to date and nurturing ongoing client and artist relationships.
Finding new talent is a core part of the role. You'll be actively scouting creators whose work, audience and ambitions fit where the agency is heading, opening those first conversations, and bringing the right ones on board. From there you'll run their onboarding, build out their profile on our site, and keep their goals, analytics and performance data current so we're always representing them accurately.
In addition to daily production responsibilities, you'll identify opportunities to connect with new clients. Regular agency presentations, attendance at industry events and artist catch-ups will be integral in ensuring that you are up to date with both the needs of the talent on the roster, and the individuals commissioning the work. A meaningful part of this is translating an artist’s own ambitions into action - when a creator tells us who they want to work with, it's on us to get their name in front of the right people. Just as often it runs the other way, and you'll be the one spotting the brand, the campaign or the collaboration they hadn't thought of, then working with the team to shape an approach that lands them.
As a producer, you will be a warm and friendly presence on the phone, over email, and in person. Your professional tone, combined with a sense of humour and passion for the creative industries will make you a valued partner to our clients, vendors and represented talent. Your working environment will see you alternate between phone, Slack, and email communication, getting out of the office to take new briefs, develop and nurture client and artist relationships, and being on-site for the execution of said briefs when required.
Your primary responsibilities will include finding, shaping and closing new partnerships between creators and brands. With work ranging from social-first video and process-led content to paid partnership campaigns and above-the-line or experiential advertising, no two days at Capital Virtues are alike.
Each new brief will see you prepare treatments or pitch documents, media kits, estimates, and proposals, then negotiate fees, usage rights, contracts, deliverables, and timelines with all stakeholders. Where relevant you'll monitor campaign performance and pull together the analytics to present back to clients and talent. Troubleshooting and problem-solving issues as they arise, you will act as a translator between artist and client. The pace of things will be fast, and you will need to be highly adaptable and efficient in your communication and organisation systems, with a specific focus on time management and multitasking, always striving for a positive outcome regardless of the circumstances.
Below are some actual examples of things our team have done lately that might help you to get a better idea of what this job involves:
- Built a creator's media kit and rate card from their audience metrics.
- Wrote a trend report that went viral in the industry.
- Fielded a brand enquiry for a creator in our extended network and helped work out their YouTube rate.
- Noted new business leads from an industry publication in our custom CRM software.
- Negotiated a creator's attendance and involvement at a major tech company's flagship conference.
- Art directed a new piece of promotional merchandise.
- Negotiated licensing when a client's retail partners wanted to repost a creator's campaign video across their own channels.
- Caught up with an artist to discuss their goals and ambitions.
- Landed in-kind product sponsorship for a creator-led workshop series off the back of a cold email.
- Packed and mailed out swag packs to new business leads.
- Onboarded a new signing, from collecting portfolio materials through to their profile going live and the roster announcement.
- Made an artist's childhood dreams come true through a collaboration with the MLB.
- Facilitated an event partnership with a global travel platform, opening up live workshops and experiences as a new way for creators to earn.
- Curated recent illustration projects that caught our eye for our weekly newsletter.
- Organised a VIP client and industry preview of an artist's gallery showing ahead of the grand opening.
- Hosted artist and creator happy hours in LA and New York.
- Was accepted into AIGA New York's 2026 Advanced Career Expansion peer-to-peer mentorship cohort.
We're all hands on deck here, and you will be making a direct impact on the agency in new and meaningful ways each day, constantly working on big-picture goals without forgetting the small details or hesitating to get your hands dirty.

Culture & Benefits
In addition to an annual salary which will be determined by experience, we also offer full health and dental benefits and an optional 401k program. We also run a group profit-share, open to all staff after 12 months of continuous service.
Other benefits include flexible working arrangements, regular training and professional development, opportunities for local and international travel including an annual get-together for the whole North American team, and more. Company laptop and tech stack will be provided.
The largest benefit however is being part of a truly supportive team. While we work primarily with the advertising and design industries, we don't work inside them as such, and ensuring all staff can sustain a healthy work/life balance is of paramount importance. As a relatively small and close-knit team, we place enormous value on creating a sustainable, inclusive, and friendly culture which revolves around our core values of kindness and creativity.
We also regularly seek opportunities to donate our time and services to support socially progressive clients and causes and support all staff to do the same.
This role will see you grow your career in new and unexpected ways, witnessing original artwork blossom from a two-line email to a campaign blanketing the city, all while working alongside some of the most inspiring talents across the globe, sleeping soundly each night knowing that you were a part of making the world a better-looking place, and helping artists and creative people sustain their career so they can continue to do what they do best.
