You'll film and edit high-quality video for social platforms, telling stories from international camps, matchdays, community rugby, campaigns and events.

What you'll be doing

  • Editing mainly in Adobe Premiere Pro and producing platform-specific versions for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X and others
  • Filming at camps, matchdays, community events and other locations across Wales and beyond
  • Working from creative briefs, contributing original ideas and responding quickly to reactive content
  • Managing, labelling, backing up and transferring footage and project files to the media library
  • Applying the WRU's visual identity, tone of voice, accessibility standards and production guidelines
  • Working with players, coaches, partners and contributors so they feel comfortable on camera
  • Maintaining and preparing production equipment for each shoot
  • Keeping up with social media trends and developments in video production
  • Supporting the WRU Group's mission, purpose and values

What we're looking for

  • Practical video shooting and editing experience – from work, freelancing, education or personal projects
  • Confidence with professional cameras and camera settings, composition, lighting, sound and production workflows
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud
  • The ability to create content for different platforms, audiences and aspect ratios, including mobile capture with quick turnaround
  • A strong creative eye, good organisation and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • A proactive, collaborative approach, comfort under pressure, and an interest in rugby, sport, Welsh culture and digital storytelling
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, strong relationship-building, and excellent written and verbal communication
  • An understanding of copyright, consent, safeguarding and content regulation
  • Desirable: Welsh-language communication skills and a valid UK driving licence

What's on offer

  • £28,000 – £30,000 per year
  • Permanent, full-time
  • Based at Principality Stadium, Cardiff, with hybrid working
