Northern Artillery is seeking a midweight front end developer to join its team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.

You will work closely with our design and development teams to ensure that our products are visually appealing and function seamlessly. If you are passionate about technology and have a solid understanding of front-end development, they want to hear from you. Please note we are only considering applications from UK based residents.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.
  • Work closely with the design and development teams to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
  • Develop responsive and “pixel-perfect” websites that align with provided UI/UX designs and maintain consistency across various devices and browsers.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers to ensure optimal website and application performance.
  • Ensure that websites and applications are optimised for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Write clean, modular, and well-documented code while having a well rounded understanding in web languages. Particularly HTML, CSS & Javascript.
  • Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in front-end development.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in front-end development.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience building in Shopify
  • Experience with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js, React or Angular.
  • Experience with build tools such as Webpack and Gulp .
  • Experience with design software such as Figma or Sketch.
  • Familiarity with responsive design and development principles.
  • Experience with Git and version control.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
