We also offer tips, resources and advice to help creatives succeed in their business or profession.
Today, Creative Boom reaches half a million readers every month, has an engaged, loyal community via all of its social channels and has enjoyed advertisers such as BBC, Jaguar and Adobe.
As well as sharing inspirational work and business support through our blog, we also help brands to communicate their messages and reach their audiences through our PR and digital communications agency, Boomerang.
A writer, journalist and all-round creative, Katy is Founding Editor of Creative Boom. She launched the site as a side project in 2009 to help promote other creatives, as well as indulge her passion for creativity. Today, she works full-time on Creative Boom, overseeing all editorial and commercial aspects. Katy especially loves to discover and share the work of emerging talent, and has a particular interest in art, crafts and photography.
A journalism graduate, Laura spent six years in London before moving back 'up North' to live in Manchester. She loves to champion new creative talent and is especially passionate about art, photography and illustration. Laura has also written for both the Huffington Post and The Guardian.
Born with a literary name, Becci inevitably fell in love with books at a young age. After studying English Language and Literature at Newcastle University, she went on to work for leading independent publishers in London with writers of every genre. Aside from a love of reading and writing, she also has an interest in art, theatre and dance.
Mark has 23 years experience as a design and communications professional. He has enjoyed a rich career history working in contrasting sectors from founding, growing and selling an award-winning design agency to global brand marketing and promotions. Mark loves to write about leadership, productivity, motivation, and wellbeing.
Soldier of fortune on the creative front line, Glenn is pitching a novel, working on a screenplay and renting out his writing skills by the hour to keep wolves from scratching at the door. Based in London, he also runs his own PR consultancy, working for clients across the UK.
Anthony Wood is the Director of Shillington Australia. He has over 13 years of design and advertising experience, working with brands such as O2, Volvo, Jaguar and Green & Black's. His move to teaching at Shillington has been a natural progression, continuing to nurture his passion for design and mentoring.
