As the Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair prepares to celebrate its 10th anniversary, craft lovers are invited to take part in its upcoming event, taking place between the 12th and 15th of October 2017.

Applications are now invited from contemporary craft designer-makers and artists working in ceramics, jewellery, interior textiles, fashion design, print-making, wood, lighting, furniture and product design, glass, metal and basket-making, before the 18th April 2017.

The Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair, or GNCCF, is one of the leading selling events for contemporary craft in the UK, attracting over 6,000 visitors. It showcases contemporary craft to buy from over 160 selected designer-makers in: ceramics, glass, jewellery, interior and fashion textiles, wood, paper, silver, metal, product design and print-making.

Showcasing work from both new and established makers, the event's exhibitors range from graduates to high-end makers.

Since 2008, the event has become a much-anticipated highlight in the North's cultural calendar. It was recently a Finalist in the Northern Design Awards 2013 and was voted Small Event of the Year at Manchester's Tourism Awards 2014, having previously won in 2011.

The GNCCF is supported by Arts Council England through the National Lottery Grant for the Arts. To take part in the October event, visit greatnorthernevents.co.uk.
