Stanley Wong’s stylish sneaker illustrations for Reebok Hong Kong

Hong Kong-based illustrator Stanley Wong, aka Sneaker Concept, has applied his signature pop art-inspired style of ‘sneaker art’ to a series of illustrations and shop display designs for Reebok.

The illustrations of six pairs of sneakers, classified into two categories - the original line and the modern line - feature photo-realistic detailed vector graphics and bold-coloured backgrounds. The designs are on show at the Reebok Classic Store, Hong Kong, to celebrate the launch of a new range of sneakers with split cushioning.

Stanley has said in the past that “Sneakers are not made to be worn. Sneakers are made to be shown." This passion for street fashion and ‘sneaker culture’ led him to establish Sneaker Concept in 2015, creating graphic prints and t-shirts celebrating his favourite kicks. He’s since worked with the likes of Adidas, Saucony, nicekicks.com, K-SWISS and Mita Sneakers and also launched an exhibition at Hong Kong’s Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre to showcase his work in June 2017.
