Uplifting photography series captures the quirky street performers of New York City

in Inspiration / Photography

Daniel Albanese is a photographer based in New York. His ongoing series of portraits, entitled Performance Art, documents the creativity displayed by street performers in the city.

From musicians to jugglers, via an adult baby, the selection is both varied and incredibly interesting. Albanese describes the subjects of his work as those "who infuse our everyday with unexpected entertainment", and as a city dweller I couldn't agree more.

The photographer is "shaped by his background in anthropology", and has built a worldwide following through documenting the more marginal aspects of the urban landscape, as well as controversial artworks, political protests, and city living.

Previous subjects include Historical Reenactors and Cosplay Portraits. Discover more at www.thedustyrebel.com.
