Tokyo at night is a magical playground of neon lights and wonder

Japan is probably my favourite place in the world. I've been lucky enough to visit the Asian country on several occasions, and every time I go, I love to explore Tokyo at night. It's when the city really comes alive with a neon explosion of light and colours, heightening your senses at every turn.

Enter the beautiful street photography of Masashi Wakui, a Japanese photographer who loves to capture Tokyo by night. And boy, can he capture it. The bright lights against darkened streets. The hum of the exciting city. People walking with umbrellas, protecting themselves from the inevitable rain. Waku manages to document the true spirit of Tokyo and how it really comes alive at night. If you love Japan and street photography as much as I do, then make sure you follow Waku's regular updates.
