"In Northern Norway, at 68°N, the sun is under the horizon between the 2nd of December and the 10th of January", explains photographer Bjørg-Elise Tuppen.
"We call this time of year ‘The Time of Darkness’. In the days following the sun’s disappearance, one can still see it’s light gracing the snow-covered mountaintops. It is the sun's final farewell, until we see it again next year – it is beautiful and melancholic." We couldn't agree more.
