The imagined taxidermy of Fantastic Mr Fox and other cute woodland creatures

If you love cute woodland creatures and anything to do with Roald Dahl's Fantastic Mr Fox and the subsequent Wes Anderson film, then you'll fall head over heels in love with these wonderful mixed-media sculptures by Korean artist Jaesun Kim.

Based in Youngin, South Korea, Kim is an artist and illustrator who also happens to love creating unique animal characters out of a range of materials including everything from polymer clay, fabric and nail polish to aluminium wire, brass tubing, acrylic paint and polyester.

Some of these unique artworks, which at quick glance you might consider to be taxidermy creations, include little foxes with prosthetic limbs, apparently to symbolise 'hope' and tributes to Fantastic Mr Fox himself (see main image). You can discover more of these fascinating sculptures on Kim's portfolio.
