British photographer Katherine Green is known for her documentary-style photography that offers social comment. Whether it’s heading to estate houses or takeaways, getting to know ex-Olympians or rising-stars-in-the-making, Green always manages to offer an interesting glimpse into the everyday lives of various people across London.
Her most recent project ‘Tales from the Launderette’ captures the rather mundane routine of washing, adding character to the launderettes through the people that go there. The series will be exhibited in two launderettes over two weeks from the end of May, fitting alongside a special soundtrack by music producer Hugo Slime.
