No one can deny the extraordinary talents of Ewa Czarniecka. Her beautiful paintings of pretty cityscapes, often in London and Paris, have been the subject of numerous solo and group exhibitions including with The Society of Women Artists, Mall Galleries and Saatchi Gallery.
She has been a professional artist since moving to London in 2002 and considers herself as self-taught. She explained: "Like poems my paintings begin with an observation, a feeling, a hunch or an idea, a memory and are then refined so that every colour, every shape and form, every gesture is woven together. Working within oil, I build the paintings up in layers to create a luminosity or light that glows from within the painting. Discovery, curiosity and playfulness."
