Plaits, ponytails and curls are styled in illustrations

Hair seems to be on the mind of illustrator Winnie Truong. Her artwork is as bizarre as it is fascinating, donning her subjects with some interesting locks. The intriguing hairstyles act like a headpiece and are at the centre of each of the illustrations. In spite of the bright and soft pastel colour palettes, Truong repeats images of skulls and double faces, giving her illustrations an unsettling quality. Something is not quite right, hidden within the personalities of all of the girls.
