Bringing a dream to life, photographer Adrien Broom built eight room installations that each represented a different colour of the rainbow. ‘The Colour Project’ represented the vibrancy of colour, as seen through a child’s eyes. Having taken a few years to complete and fund, the final project includes worlds of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, white and rainbow.
Broom managed to avoid overbearing her project with Photoshop but did add a few touch-ups for creative effect, such as designing the blue world to be underwater. The entire project and other work will be on show at the Hudson River Museum as part of Broom’s first solo museum show, opening in June. To see more of the photographer’s work, visit her website.
