In life, there are plenty of mundane activities. At the time, we probably don't think much of them. Watching TV, emptying our 'Junk' email folder, flicking through a magazine... Illustrator Peter James Field has not only taken notice of these mundanities, but has created a beautiful book collating the highlights of a 10 year personal diary project including these often over-looked activities.
The book was self-published following a successful Kickstarter campaign, and we're so glad it has been. At times the illustrations are laugh-out-loud funny, and at other times heart-wrenching, but altogether provide a moving journey through Field's life – through both the hard times and the good.
Field has worked with a long list of clients including Penguin, TIME, The Times, The Guardian, Vanity Fair and The Independent, amongst many more. For more information on the project, and to see more of Field's work, visit his website.
