"A specially designed LED light suit abstracts the human form to shapes of light," explains Belfast photographer Michael Taylor, on his new series LightPath. "Movements of the human body through the landscape leave residual traces of light. Light, therefore, becomes a memory of action."
It's one of many beautiful collections of work that explore the potential of light in night photography. Whether clothing his subjects in LED light suits and making them move across the frame or having a person silhouetted in time by choreographed movements of light generated by a range of light painting tools.
