Forgotten Corners of Berlin: black and white analogue photographs of Germany's capital

In his series Forgotten Corners of Berlin, self-taught photographer Andrew G Fisher explores Germany's capital for the first time, documenting hidden spots that are often overlooked.
The medium format, black and white images present an alternative perspective of Berlin and unearth beauty in the ordinary and the mundane. From old concrete architecture to abandoned parks and warehouses, these photographs pick out the simple details, symmetrical lines and pleasing arches and doorways of a city renowned for its eclectic range of architecture.
"The passage of time has always fascinated and intrigued me," explains Andrew. "Unchangeable and inevitable, a seemingly abstract concept which has confounding effects on every aspect of life. I try to identify the relationship between time, place and people; how one inevitably affects the others."
