How beautiful are these sculptures by New York-based artist Daniel Arsham? They're concealed sculptures of three-dimensional bodies, seemingly wrapped up in white sheets. Something that offers a haunting yet unique perspective on the artist's vision. It's like his figures are doing a real bad job of hide n' seek, dotted around the gallery space in which they're based. In some cases, you can imagine a gust of wind blowing through, forcing the sheets to show the absolute outline of the subject beneath. For me, it almost brings on a feeling of claustrophobia, as I can imagine nothing worse than being trapped beneath a sheet. Beautiful work.
