Estate Sale: Nostalgic still life photography of precious objects from the past

If you happily spend hours scouring charity shops for forgotten treasures – old china cups and saucers, outdated technology and perhaps pretty dessert bowls – then Estate Sale will appeal.

The still life photography series is the result of a collaboration between Copenhagen-based photographer Tine Bek and UK-based set and prop stylist Holly Hmiddouche.

Tine explains the thinking behind the work: "It came along very organically by looking at these precious objects of the past not so long ago. With a thought of the object and nostalgia, we wanted to create a series of images telling stories of forgotten things as a comment on our buying, selling, re-buying society."
