Miho Aikawa captures the people of New York at dinnertime

As you settle down to your dinner tonight, have you ever wondered how other people experience one of the most important meals of the day? Especially in one of the world's largest, most exciting and busiest cities?

This fascinating photo project by Miho Aikawa showcases New Yorkers from all walks of life and how and where they eat their dinner every day. She presents a whole host of different characters, from a model concentrating on her food while reviewing her busy day to a 30-something enjoying her dinner with friends around a table while watching TV. She even captures a monk tucking into some food which local people have donated. Just beautiful.
