We've just discovered Primary, a new destination to discover and collect limited-edition framed art prints from some of the best image makers in the world.
Only recently launched, its debut featured artists include Ping Zhu, Laurent Cilluffo and Simon Landrein, and there's a host of creatives from across the globe about to come on board in the coming weeks and months. What's quite different about this fresh platform is that it also shares the stories behind the featured artists, so you can learn more about their inspirations, processes and backgrounds before snapping up one of their prints.
"It seems that many platforms have risen and fallen over the last 10 years but none have managed to attract the kind of artwork that my partner and I would like to hang on our walls," says Thom Bradley, founder of Primary. "It felt there was a disconnect as some of the best image makers in the world were not neatly archived together in a place that they could call home.
"For years, I mentioned this to other art directors, illustrators, photographers and fine artists and the same answers repeatedly came back, 'I don’t want to be on those platforms with thousands of other works'. Primary is our answer to this problem, a place for creatives but also somewhere for collectors to discover something new through the words and images of the artists themselves."
