"Everybody has the opportunity to tell their story with impact," said Rufus Deuchler, Creative Cloud Evangelist who kicked off the Adobe Creative Meetup in London last November with one of many inspirational talks.
It follows the Adobe MAX Creativity Conference in Los Angeles, where you can learn about the latest advances in technology and hear from a range of speakers who share intense doses of inspiration. This year, it featured the creative team behind Harry Potter™, MinaLima, and the content creator and YouTuber Patricia Bright. Whatever appeals, you can now enjoy the Meetup on-demand online.
To give you a glimpse of what to expect, Rufus shared updates from Creative Cloud products, including Adobe Photoshop on iPad (coming in 2019), Adobe XD’s new functionalities, such as creating voice prototypes and updates in Illustrator CC, InDesign CC, Premiere CC and the arrival of the new video tool Adobe Premiere Rush CC addressed mainly to video creators for social media, among other fascinating tools.
Next, MinaLima, the creative minds behind the Harry Potter™ and Fantastic Beasts™ film series, offered plenty of fascinating insights from their career and tips about how to get inspiration for designs that represent films, revealing secrets, like "Paying attention to detail" as one of the best-kept secrets of their success. "Don’t be frightened to leap in and find the beat that you like. We found the niche we liked, created worlds that don’t exist through research and by inventing a new language," they added.
Finally, YouTube sensation and content creator Patricia Bright shared her thoughts about the future of vlogging and her initial steps in her career journey. She also revealed how she started making videos for YouTube and how she keeps her content fresh, at a time when it feels quite difficult to innovate.
Whether missing the #AdobeCreativeMeetup the first time or wanting to re-watch it again, it is now available online on-demand. Enjoy!
