The Corner Agency launches EVERZINE

London-based Ad agency, The Corner is launching EVERZINE, a new multi-platform magazine celebrating the mutual growing influences between Eastern and Western creativity in fashion, culture, art and design.

EVERZINE is a unique collaboration between The Corner and Hong Kong-born fashion photographer Kevin Wong and builds on The Corner’s strong links with the Chinese creative and developer community. The Chinese talent at The Corner currently numbers six across different disciplines, including Design Director Will Chak, and they have all been heavily involved in the initiative.

Since graduating from Central St Martins College, Kevin Wong has worked as a designer at i-D magazine, and contributed to several books including Fashion Forward, 100 Contemporary Fashion Designers and Safe + Sound, all published by Taschen.

Kevin K Wong, fashion photographer and editor-in-chief, said: “EVERZINE focuses on bringing together the most exciting creative talents from the West and the East‚ from the worlds of fashion‚ art and culture. We are now providing a unique platform for independent fashion labels and the best up and coming designers to showcase their work.”

Tom Ewart, founding partner at The Corner and contributing editor, said: “Traditionally UK agencies have looked West to the US for inspiration and innovation‚ but in recent years we have seen a dramatic shift in the axis of influence‚ both economic and cultural. We are fascinated by this shift and keen to learn from it and be a part of it.”

The launch issue of EVERZINE unites the freshest and emerging innovators, creators and makers of fashion, art and culture, supporting the magazine’s ethos of West, Meets East. Content in all formats is sign-posted W and E in both English and Chinese and the front and back covers are designed in dual languages. The editorial comes together with a regular interview entitled The Corner Meets. For the launch edition The Corner’s Design Director Will Chak meets Graffiti Artist Malarky.

EVERZINE launches simultaneously this month in both London and Beijing in print and online. Print editions will be priced at £5 and available from The Corner and in selected retailers throughout central London including WH Smith in Selfridges. EVERZINE will be distributed globally by Pineapple Media through selected fashion, retail and cultural outlets in France, Germany, Spain, Singapore, Austria, Belgium, USA, Canada, Australia, Brazil, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Spain and Japan.
