Photographer chases the sun across the world to capture Golden Hour in seven continents

French landscape photographer Julien Grondin, also known as Beboy, has spent the past three years travelling the world to try and capture the beauty of nature at sunrise and sunset. Visiting seven continents, he loves to play with light at both dawn and dusk when the sun is more likely to hit straight into his camera lens and create unique backlit shots.

From the classic lavender fields of Provence in France to the ancient ruins of Rome; from the stunning red rocks of America's Monument Valley to the dramatic coastlines of Australia – Beboy finds a beautiful angle to see what Golden Hour looks like in the most stunning locations.

Speaking of his work, Beboy said: "What I love the most about sunrise/sunset shots is to capture something that a lot of photographers try to avoid: putting the sun directly into the frame. To properly expose a photo in this kind of situation could be very challenging, but if you manage to get the right angle, the contrast of the light on elements like rocks, plants and trees is really quite spectacular."
