London students to provide soundtrack to world class Japanese animations

London's Tech Music School (TMS London), part of the award winning BIMM Group of contemporary music colleges, has announced an innovative partnership with leading Japanese digital animation college, Digital Hollywood.

To mark this unique fusion of musical and digital education, this week Deputy Editor CEO of Digital Hollywood Mr Kenjiro Meguri visited TMS London to sign the official agreement.

Students at the world renowned Digital Hollywood in Tokyo, who have been involved in the production of Avatar, Transformers, Harry Potter and other global hit films, are in need of a constant supply of original music to enhance their animations which will now be provided by students at TMS London. This will see music from TMS London Music Production students at the forefront of the digital movement in Tokyo, with animations screened at film festivals across the country, providing a unique platform for the students’ work.

TMS London is an established market leader with 30 years experience in delivering popular music education and professional, real world training for performers, producers, songwriters and business entrepreneurs. The partnership with Digital Hollywood is an example of the first class industry opportunities students at the college are given.

Mr Koga, CEO of Digital Hollywood who was unable to attend the signing this week said: “Our school focuses on developing young people to compete in the global market. A partnership with TMS London will provide a rare opportunity for students from both schools to exchange ideas and information, work on joint projects and improve skills and abilities to compete at an international level.”
