Secret Portraits: 100 days of intriguing secrets illustrated by Terence Eduarte
If you want your portrait drawn by Terence Eduarte, an illustrator from the Philippines, then you may have to tell him a secret. He's currently embarking on an epic challenge where he aims to create "100 days of secrets" – a unique series of artworks and little accompanying stories where he, you guessed it, draws both friends and strangers who confess something they'd rather keep to themselves.
"Every person has an interesting story to tell and I wanted to channel that into this project," explains Terence, who is posting his daily artworks on his Instagram feed, as well as on his website. "I've already gathered a lot of silly secrets from friends and unexpected confessions from strangers around the world."
Expect tales such as "My parents think I quit smoking" and "I like playing with other people's feelings because I'm unsure about mine" to more serious contenders where people confront darker memories from the past.
