Screen Sirens: Stunning portraits of iconic Hollywood starlets

This series of striking paintings is by Tokyo-based artist, Tsunemasa Takahashi. Steeped in glamour, the portraits, which include actresses Susan Hayward, Judy Garland and Lauren Bacall, have been created through the medium of oil tempera.

Takahashi has also created a series of gorgeous book and film covers, which follow the same, unique style –"Every stroke of paint should be timeless."
