Remember cycling around your home town with friends when you were a young teen and how magical it was? Especially at night, when it would take on a whole new experience? Illustrator Catherine Pape has reenacted the feeling through 'Nox', an illustrated book about a journey through the night. It's based on the environments around Kent where she was studying and Suffolk where she grew up, and the memories of bike rides at night that felt like magical adventures. Beautiful work. Catherine has just graduated from the University for the Creative Arts in Maidstone. She works mostly with watercolours, inks, gouache and digital. Inspired by nature, patterns, storytelling and old maps, and available for projects and commissions. Find out more at www.catherinepape.co.uk.
