One of the things I love about city breaks is the chance to take discreet photographs of strangers, going about their normal lives. That doesn't make me creepy, you understand. It's just that I'm fascinated by people and different cultures - and street photography manages to capture that fascination. This wonderful project by Spanish photographer Monica Lek called 'My Neighbors' - is something that I can totally relate to. Monica lives in New York now, and loves to document the people who live in and around her colourful neighbourhood. You can check out more of Monica's work at www.monicalek.com.
