Polish artist Anna Wypych creates beautiful photo-realistic portraits and paintings that evoke moods, dreams and feelings inspired by real life, and which create a remarkably compelling narrative, one that aims to understand the very essence of humanity.
The physical nudity and sincerity of her characters has emerged as a hallmark of her work. She explores philosophical questions, which we do not have time to answer in our fast-paced and busy lives. She uses her own language of symbols and gestures, to show a desire to understand our place in the modern world. The people in her paintings are not particular individuals, but figures of concepts and ideas, she paints instead portraits of feelings.
Wypych has a permanent collection showcased at The European Museum of Modern Art in Barcelona and she has exhibited at venues across the globe. To see more of her work visit annawypych.pl.
