Artist painstakingly replicates a photography studio from the 1900s in miniature

When looking at these photographs, it's difficult to believe they contain a miniature photography studio rather than a life-size one. This is thanks to the level of intricate detail imparted through the impressive skill of Ali Alamedy.

The artist, who specialises in miniatures, has created a tiny photography studio from the 1900s. All of the details are made from scratch using mixed media – mostly wood and copper, and it took Alamedy nine months to complete the project.

Inside the minuscule room is over 100 objects, made to replicate the style of the era. The finished work is the result of countless methods of research. Discover more of Alamedy's fantastic work on Instagram.
